The first adventure on our road trip: hiking the Boy Scout Trail. The forest was vast, but silent. The trees soared above us, it was unearthly. As if we'd wandered into an ancient alien place. The light was beautiful.

Balmy weather and learning how to handle some new cameras led us to exploring the sidewalks and paths leading away from our neighborhood. Conveniently, they led right back.
